Over the past two months I have witnessed two of my
best friends become engaged to their long-term boyfriends. It has been almost more exciting for me
as it has been for the two of them.
My best friend, Heather Bost, got engaged to her
boyfriend of eight years, Collin Davis, on Valentines Day. I have been friends with both Heather
and Collin for over 10 years. I
could not be happier for them and have been given the honor to stand up in
their wedding as a bridesmaid.
The most recent engagement that I have witnessed is
not only one of my best friends, but also my sister, Lisa. Her boyfriend of over five years, Ryan
Landy, proposed to her on April Fools Day. The most exciting part for me was that no one knew it was
coming. “I had the ring picked out
for three weeks and was just waiting for the perfect moment,” said Ryan
Landy. I also have the honor of
standing up in her wedding as her maid of honor.
Although this is an extremely exciting time for both
Heather and Lisa, I have been over whelmed with excitement as well. I am so excited to be planning two
weddings that will both take place next summer. It will be a busy year, but I wouldn’t want it any other
way.
